Strong competitor of 5 door Thar is here

Force is all set to launch the 5 door version of Gurkha. The specific model has been spied multiple times during testing. Now it is spotted at dealership without camouflage which indicates the company will launch suddenly. We expect the 5 door Force Gurkha will hit showroom in coming auto-expo which is going to held in January.

The 5 door Gurkha carries a lot of design elements from its 3 door sibling like bold circular headlamps, GURKHA badging on front grille, G-Wagon inspired turn indicatator, snorkel and taillamps. But the 5 door Gurkha will have a longer wheelbase in order to fit a new row inside the cabin. This will be a 6 seater with captain seats at middle row.
Under the bonnet of Gurkha 5 door, Force will offer a 2.6 liter diesel engine that makes maximum 90bhp power and 250nm of torque that will be mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. The 5 door gurkha will compete to 5 door Thar and Maruti Suzuki Jimny which are also under development.
