American car maker company jeep soon going to unveil the new 7 seater SUV based on compass.

Jeep confirmed the 7 seat er SUV based on compass will known as Commander further. Initially jeep used to call its concept H6 and further it will known as jeep commander. Jeep confirmed this by a teaser. The new 7 seat er SUV is based on jeep compass. Both the SUV will share platform but for a seven seater SUV they will tune the platform for longer wheelbase and mor cabin space.
The new SUV is in boxy shape. The new SUV carrys forward jeep DNA. It has seven slat grille at front with raised bonnet. Headlamps are LEDs and an LED day time running light strip is also integrated with it. The SUV is longer than compass for an extra row. The window area is also made as long as possible. Rear gets sleek LED taillights which looks very stylish. The teaser shows that a single LED strip is running across the light and three aligned strips are at the lower part of the taillight.
The SUV is likely to have a lot of features such as panaromic sunroof, digital instrument cluster, massive vertical touch screen, electric adjustable front seats with memory function and ADAS system which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, brake assist and self parking. It will also have automatic high beam control and blind spot detective camera.
The new commander will share engine and transmission option with compass. It will have 2.0 liter turbo charged diesel engine paired with 9 speed automatic transmission. The commander will be a 4WD SUV.
