2022 Dacia Duster facelift

Dacia unveils the facelift of Duster.

1. Dacia Duster facelift reveled for European market.

2. Fresh exterior and interior with a number of new features.

3. Multiple engine option with manual and DCT gearbox.

Dacia has revealed the facelifted of their 5 seater compact SUV Duster. In thus upgrade Duster has got a fresh exterior and interior, number of new features and DCT gearbox. It will be launched in European market initially and latter on other countries. In India its direct rivals are Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross.

In terms of design, the bulky design is retain in  Duster facelift. The front gets revised grille and headlamps. It gets sharp grille with chrome inserts and LED headlamps with dual strip Y shaped DRL. Lower down the bumper gets massive skid plate finished in aluminum and black plastic over circular fog lamp. 

At the side it gets muscular front and rear fenders. The duster sis on a set if stylish diamond cut alloy wheels. It also gets bold roof rails. At the rear it gets smooth edge tail lamps. The til light is all LED and gets a sort of Y treatment inside. At the center of tailgate the license plate is placed and DUSTER is written over it. Lower down it gets reflector and aluminum skid plate.

Inside the cabin it gets s simple dashboard layout. It gets 4 spoke steering wheel. The central condole contains three circular C vents. 8 inch touch screen infotainment system and controls for automatic climate control. The whole interior is in black theme and the seats and arm rests gets white stitches.

Dacia has added a number of new features in the facelift of Duster. It gets 8 inch touch screen system which supports android auto and apple car play. In lower trims the duster gets 7 inch touch screen system. The infotainment system gets advanced navigation system and smartphone connectivity. It also gets 4×4 monitor along with other basic features.

The Davis Duster facelift gets 3 petrol engine, 1 diesel engine and 1 bi-fuel (petrol & LPG) engine option. The 1.0 liter turbo charged engine produces 89 bhp of power and 1.3 liter petrol TCe 150 makes a peak power output of 148 bhp where as the 1.3 liter petrol TCe 130 delivers a maximum power of 128 bhp. The 1.5 liter diesel engine is 113 bhp powerful. It is also avilavle in bi fuel option. 

The great mechanical upgrade is that, it gets  DCT gearbox option.The facelifted Duster is available with 6 speed manual transmission. The 6 speed dual clutch transmission is available only with 2WD variants. It also gets 4×4 option also.
