Kia Carens, Mahindra Bolero Neo and Honda Amaze Crash test


In a latest publication, global NCAP has released the crash test result of three well established products of Indian market. The result is quite shocking and it has awarded buyers about the safety of these products.

The 7 seater mpv Kia Carens has scored 3 star safety ratings for adult occupants and 5 stars for child occupants. Initially it scored zero star for adult accupants and after improvement it scored this average score. As it is based on seltos platform, 3 star was expected.
The sub-compact sedan Honda Amaze was also tested under latest protocol of GNCAP. In this test Amaze has scored 27.85 points and 8.58 points for adult and child occupants respectively, which derives into 2 star and 0 star respectively.
The another candidate for this innings was our homegrown Mahindra Bolero Neo. The SUV has dissapionted by its crash test result. It has scored 1 star for adult protection and 1 star for child protection. It is very distinct from Mahindra family.

ScorpioN, Swift, Ignis, S-presso crash test

Global NCAP has revealed the crash test ratings of 4 Indian cars. The first one is Mahindra Scorpio-N and other three are Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ignis and S-presso. Global NCAP has changed their test criteria in which these four cars has been tested. Mahindra Scorpio is one of the best selling D-segment SUV.
