Thar 5 door on 15th August official Confirmation

1. Make global debut on 15th August.
2. Launch is scheduled for 2024.
3. May offer three row seating configuration.

You may have seen a loooooot of articles claiming the 5 door Thar will make global debut on coming independence day in the South Africa Mahindra event. Regarding this, Mahindra has raised a post on their official Instagram handle.

Mahindra's word "with reference to multiple media reports indicating that the most-awaited Mahindra Thar 5-Door will debut at a Mahindra event in South Africa on August 15, we would like to clarify that the launch is not scheduled for this year. During the recently concluded Quarter results media indication, we confirm that the launch of Thar 5-Door is scheduled for 2024 in India.

You can see the original post by the OEM. There is clearly mentioned the launch is scheduled for next year 2024, but there is no mention about debue or unveiling.

On 15th August 2020, Thar was launched, then on 15th August 2021 we saw the iconic XUV700 and on 15th August last year, Mahindra showcased the Born Electic lineup which highlights the patriotism of the OEM.

Although the official announcement confirms the launch, there is no mention about unveiling where the last three continuous events and the scheduled event in South Africa combinely raises a great chance of debut of 5 door Thar.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic

This is actually slightly modified previous generation scorpio which will go on sell parallely with Scorpio-n. This is due to high demand of outgoing Scorpio however the Scorpio classic isn't exactly the outgoing Scorpio, this will be slightly upgraded in terms of design, features and engine.
