Hyundai Exter - Punch Rival


1. Hyundai announced launch of Exter.
2. Shared platform from grand i10 nios.

Hyundai is the second largest manufacturer in the country where Venue is the entry level SUV from the OEM. Hyundai is going to make expand their SUV lineup by adding a new micro SUV.

The all new micro SUV will be called Exter which will be the entry level SUV of Hyundai. The Exter will compete to Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the segment king Tata Punch.

Exter refers outdoor, travel and leisure. The SUV is inspired from nature around us. The SUV is developed by focusing outside so it will have passionate or active character.

Hyundai Casper, which is a micro SUV is already in Korean market on which the Exter is based. The Exter will borrow some body pannel from Casper too but Exter will have its own identity.

Having a upright stance and imposed front, the Exter offers an SUV stance. The distinct H shape DRL and parametric grille proves its Hyundai DNA.

The underbody cladding and roofrails will add more SUV character to its side profile. Despite of being an entry level SUV, the Exter will get a feature loaded cabin.

There will be a detuned 1.0 liter turbocharged engine from Venue and the most popular 1.2 NA petrol engine under the hood. The transmission option includes 5MT, 6AT and 7DCT.

Tata Nexon gets a new set of alloy wheel. 1. Tata Nexon has got a silent update. 2. In this update Nexon gets a new set of alloy wheel. Tata has upgraded their sub compact SUV Nexon silently.
