The Suzuki derivative of HyCross

1. Suzuki HyCross confirmed.
2. To be made in Toyota plant.
3. Same features & powertrain.

We have seen Toyota-Maruti collaboration in terms of re-badeged Baleno as Glanza, re-badeged Brezza as Urban Cruiser and Urban Cruiser HyRyder with their mutual effort.

There was a rumour that, Ciaz will be re-badeged as Belta since a couple of years but now Maruti has confirmed the re-badged Innova HyCross from Maruti outlet.

The Innova HyCross was developed by Toyota and opened for sale in December 2022. The HyCross will be the first Toyota model to receive a Maruti badge.

The Maruti HyCross will get some design tweak over the grille and bumper. The interior will come with new color theme but the features list will remain unchanged.

We can also expect variant wise features distribution although the features will remain same in top end trim. The Hybrid engine will also retain in Maruti HyCross.

With this launch, Maruti Suzuki will establish a new identity in premium segment where the one and only Innova HyCross will be the most expensive product from the OEM.

Brezza or Fronx?

Price The first thing to focus while buying a car is its price. The Fronx comes at 7.47 lacs and goes all the way upto 13.14 lacs ex showroom where Brezza starts at 8.19 lacs and goes upto 14.14 lacs.
