MG Rolls out 1st unit of smart EV

1. 1st unit of COMET EV rolled out.
2. Launch on April 19.
3. Micro car for easy manoeuvre.

MG is all set to Launch their micro car Comet smart EV on coming 19. They have rolled out the first unit of the Comet EV from MG's Halol plant successfully.

The Comet smart EV is very compact in size. MG has kept the length below 3 meter (2.9m) so that it can be easily parked and manoeuvre in city traffic.

The micro electric SUV is based on SAIC's GSEV platform. This platform is well known for its spacious character. The wheelbase of Comet is  2010mm.

By means of exterior styling MG has kept the body boxy shape. The 2 door micro SUV gets LED light front mounted charging port and 12" steel wheels with cover.

Despite of being a 2 door micro SUV, the Comet samrt EV is a 4 seater car which will get a 40hp powerful motor at front axle. The motor will draw power from a 17kwh battery offering range 200-250km.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic

This is actually slightly modified previous generation scorpio which will go on sell parallely with Scorpio-n. This is due to high demand of outgoing Scorpio however the Scorpio classic isn't exactly the outgoing Scorpio, this will be slightly upgraded in terms of design, features and engine.
