MG Comet EV launched

MG has announced price for Comet which is fully electric micro car. The Comet is a proper 4 seater EV targeting city costumer for day to day drive.

There are Tata Tiago and Citroen C3 EV in market offering range of 315 and 320km. Here MG has offered a 17kWh battery with claiming range of 230km.

The 2 door micro EV has been priced at 7.98 lakh ex showroom. It maintains a price gap of 1 lakh from its rival which will make it more value for money.

Over 200,000 entries were registered out of which five were shortlisted, Kwiq, Kylaq, Kosmiq, Kliq and Kayaq. The manufacturer has finalized the name Kylaq (kai-lak) which is inspired from Mt. Kailash. The SUV will be launched in 2025 and it will take on SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Tata Nexon. More details about the Kylaq are awaited.

The car market is dominated by Tata. But the largest manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has no EV in their portfolio. So here Maruti has brought a new SUV which is fully electric. The company has cide named the SUV YY8 internally. The SUV will be based on 27PL 'sketbord' platform which is derived from Toyota's 40PL platform. It means we will see the same SUV at Toyota too. But the Toyota will put its own design language on it. Dimension wise the all new EV will be same as recently launched Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara but the wheel base of the YY8 EV will be longer. Most Powerful BMW launched | M340i updated

Throwback A couple of months, BMW published a SUV concept claiming that will be the most powerful product of the auto maker. Today BMW has launched the XM SUV in Indian market with ex showroom price of 2.6Cr which makes the SUX the flagship model of BMW. This is the only SUV in BMW's M lineup which is powered by both electric motor and a petrol engine which can run 80km on purely electric mode. The all new BMW SUV is powered by a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 petrol engine which is good to 489bhp. This engine is coupled to a 48V strong hybrid system. The combine power output from the petrol engine and electric motor happens to be 654bhp and 800nm. The SUV comes with a 8 speed automatic gearbox that powers all four wheels.
