Mercedes Benz has removed camouflage from the all new E-Class. This will go on sale globally in coming months where as for India it is scheduled to next year.
This upgrade gives the sedan a fresh exterior with comprehensively tweaked interior. Now the E-Class also shares design elements with new S-Class and new C-Class.
The all new E-Class gets a new headlamp shape, a longer bonnet and more sloppy roofline which helps it to retain the traditional sedan culture.
Throwback a couple of months, we have posted about teaser of E-Class claiming it will be more premium and futuristic. The pulse response LED strips are across the cabin.
The dashboard gets Jet inspired aircon vants. A massive 12.3 inch drivers display and a 14.4 inch infotainment screens are there. The Mercedes hyper screen will be optional.
All these changes are more or less result of structural change. The new E-Class got underpinned by MRA platform which more brawny and light weight.
The sedan will get four and six cylinder petrol and diesel engine under hood with the nine speed automatic transmission. It will come with two Hybrid systems.
Initially it will go on sale with mild hybrid system where latter on Mercedes will release two, a 10.6kWh and 24.1kWh hybrid system.
Initially it will go on sale in international market. It will take a year to come India.
