Citroen C3 aircross, Cheap or practical?

Citroen has unveiled their three row detective of C3 which will compete Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder.

The C3 aircross is 4.3 meter long SUV and comes with 5 or 7 seater options. The third row is not offering decent room for adult passage. Only children will be comfortable there. The 5 steter has a massive boot instead.
In terms of design, the all new Citroen C3 aircross is very much Citroen like. It comes with split headlamps with LED DRL. Lower down there are circular Foglamps and silver skid plate.

From side it gets Massi stance. The black cladding, dual tone alloy wheels and silver roof rails makes it taller. ORVMs are of body colour and flush type door handles are over there.
The tall stance continues at the rear also. It gets high mount stop lamp, rear wiper and Shark fin anteena. The tail lamps are halogen unit but looks great. The bumper gets silver skid plate.

The C3 aircross gets a practical cabin. It gets a stylish dashboard layout full of hard plastic everywhere. A 10" standing touch screen and flat bottom steering is there. The seats gets white colour faux leather upholstery.
The Citroen C3 doesn't gets any un-necessary features. Android auto, Apple car play are on offering with the touch screen and there is a digital drivers display too which will show all vital informations.

The C3 aircross comes with steering mounted audio and telephone control, music system, electric adjustable ORVMs, USB charging port, remote central locking and all power windows and rear parking sensors and camera.

The AC is not automated, there is no wireless charger, there is no auto dimming IRVM there is no cold glove box, there is no LED/Projector headlamps, there is no front parking sensors, there is no soft touch inserts.

Ofcourse the missing features list is greater than the offering list but we think Citroen has tried to make a budget car with a big footprint instead of making a movie theatre on wheels.

The engine is shared from the C3 hatchback which is also can be upgraded but it's competitors are offering highly powerful engines with advanced technology. But the price of C3 aircross will be way less.

1. 1st EV from the brand. 2. Showcase in auto expo. 3. Two battery pack options. India has a massive market. Talking about two wheelers, more than 100 brands are operating. The car market is dominated by Tata. But the largest manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has no EV in their portfolio. So here Maruti has brought a new SUV which is fully electric. The company has cide named the SUV YY8 internally. The SUV will be based on 27PL 'sketbord' platform which is derived from Toyota's 40PL platform. It means we will see the same SUV at Toyota too.
