1. Tata Nexon is to get major facelift.
2. About to get 10.25" touchscreen.
3. Powertrain to be retained.
Tata motors is now the second largest auto maker in the country by touching 45k to 50k sales unit per month. Tata Nexon was launched in 2017 and in 2020 it got a mid life update.
Now Tata Nexon is spotted on Indian roads with heavy camouflage stickers which suggest the sub-compact SUV will get a mojor facelift. We can't comment on design at the point due to camouflage even the wheels are covered.
Tata doesn't want to share any design element before official debut. But now the thing we can confirm is the curvy stance. Also some borrowed design elements from tata Curvv concept.
The front is likely to get a connecting DRL. The headlamps are repositioned to front bumper. We expect the greels will also get tweaked. The same story at the rear, it is likely to get connecting LED strip.
Nexon facelift holds a major update inside the cabin. The 7 inch touchscreen will get replaced by a free standing 10.25 inch touchscreen which will be more fluidic. We expect batter fit and finish this time.
The powertrain will remain same. It will continue with the same 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine with enhanced power figure and the same 1.5 liter diesel engine. Transmission option includes a 6MT and an AMT gearbox.
