BYD Seal India launch

BYD, the largest EV manufacturer of world has unveiled the Seal electric sedan in last auto expo. The sedan is fully electric which is to be priced between 60 to 70 lakh in India. The luxury EV is based on BYD's e-platform 3.0.

The EV will come with two battery pack options, one will be a 61.4 kWh battery pack delivering range of 550km and a bigger 82.5kWh battery pack delivering 700km range. This sedan is planned to launch in last quarter this year.

Kailash. The SUV will be launched in 2025 and it will take on SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Tata Nexon. More details about the Kylaq are awaited.

New All Electric Vehicle from Maruti Suzuki

The car market is dominated by Tata. But the largest manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has no EV in their portfolio. So here Maruti has brought a new SUV which is fully electric. The company has cide named the SUV YY8 internally. The SUV will be based on 27PL 'sketbord' platform which is derived from Toyota's 40PL platform. It means we will see the same SUV at Toyota too. But the Toyota will put its own design language on it. Dimension wise the all new EV will be same as recently launched Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara but the wheel base of the YY8 EV will be longer. Most Powerful BMW launched | M340i updated

Throwback A couple of months, BMW published a SUV concept claiming that will be the most powerful product of the auto maker. Today BMW has launched the XM SUV in Indian market with ex showroom price of 2.6Cr which makes the SUX the flagship model of BMW. This is the only SUV in BMW's M lineup which is powered by both electric motor and a petrol engine which can run 80km on purely electric mode. The all new BMW SUV is powered by a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 petrol engine which is good to 489bhp. This engine is coupled to a 48V strong hybrid system. The combine power output from the petrol engine and electric motor happens to be 654bhp and 800nm. The SUV comes with a 8 speed automatic gearbox that powers all four wheels.
