The most value for money i20


Hyundai i20 is one of the hot selling premium hatchback. Currently the selling model is third generation i20 which comes with three engine options and it is divided into four categories in terms of feature distribution. Price of i20 starts at 7.7 lakh and goes all the way up to 11.62 lakh ex showroom.

The mid variant Sportz comes with all engine and transmission options. The 1.2 litre petrol manual variant costs 7.97 lakh, 1.0 turbo petrol IMT costs 8.88 lakh, 1.0 turbo petrol IVT costs 8.99 lakh, 1.0 turbo petrol DCT costs 9.90 lakh and 1.5 diesel manual costs 9.28 lakh.

The Sportz variant comes with glossy black front grille and conventional halogen headlamps. It gets LED DRLs and fog lamps over the bumper. Coming to the side it gets styled steel wheels which looks like alloy. The turn indicators are placed over the ORVMs. 

Other styled elements at the side are the chrome surrounded windows and the gloss black inserts on the C pillars. In the rear, it gets Z shaped LED tail lamps which gets connected treatment. Here the small i20 badging inside the tail lamp indicated the attention to details.

The Sportz variant gets shark fin antenna, high mount stop lamp, rear de-foffer, reversing assistant and skid plate treatment. The overall design is very sharp and aggressive. But it doesn't feels over done at all.
Inside the cabin, it gets a 10.25 inch touch screen infotainment systen, automatic AC and multiple charging points. It gets digital instrument cluster which is picked from verna. The horizontal lines across the width is the identity of i20.

The entire cabin is in black theme. Hard plastic is used everywhere but it doesn't feel cheap. There are no fit-finish issues. The 4 spoke multi function steering wheel looks premium. It gets height adjustable driver seats and tilt adjustable steering.

Another features are, central locking, automatic headlamps, cruise control, day-night IRVM, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, 4 speaker - 2 tweeter music system, android auto and apple car play, rear AC vents, tyre pressure monitoring system and many more.

Tata Nexon gets a new set of alloy wheel. 1. Tata Nexon has got a silent update. 2. In this update Nexon gets a new set of alloy wheel. Tata has upgraded their sub compact SUV Nexon silently. Brezza or Fronx?

The Fronx comes at 7.47 lacs and goes all the way upto 13.14 lacs ex showroom where Brezza starts at 8.19 lacs and goes upto 14.14 lacs.
