BMW has announced the launch of the third generation of the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) in India. The price for petrol variant has been set at 45.90 lakh where as for diesel it happens to be 47.90 lakh.

BMW has made a the identity of X1 as SAV which stands for Sports Activity Vehicle. This is the notable thing here that BMW has set a partition between real SUVs and psuedo SUVs. Any ways......

BMW has promised to deliver the petrol variants of X1 from March and diesel from June this year. Design wise the X1 gets bigger grille, new LED headlamps at the front and stylish taillamps at rear.

The new BMW X1 is bigger in dimension also. Dimension wise it is longer by 53mm, wider by 24mm and taller by 44mm. The wheelbase is also increased by 22mm.

Under the hood BMW X1 has a 1.5 liter 3 cylinder petrol engine which is 136bhp powerful and makes maximum torque out po u of 230nm. It has a 2.0 liter diesel engine option too which has power output of 150bhp and 360nm.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic

This is actually slightly modified previous generation scorpio which will go on sell parallely with Scorpio-n. This is due to high demand of outgoing Scorpio however the Scorpio classic isn't exactly the outgoing Scorpio, this will be slightly upgraded in terms of design, features and engine. At the front, the Scorpio classic has revised grille and bumper. The hood is up-right and there is a non hood scoop like outgoing Scorpio but in scorpio classic, the hood scoop is non functional.
