Tata Punch EV confirmed


1. Tata is working on Punch EV.

Tata is the top growing EV manufacturer in the country. Recently they have launched the cheapest electric car Tia go which comes at 8.5 lakh. Tata has also large EV portfolio which comprises Tigor EV, Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max. The Punch will be the fifth all electric product from the car maker.

Punch was launched in October 2021 and went instant hit. After that Punch has got some editions and variant upgrade. Now Tata is working on Punch EV which is going to hit road soon. The electric punch will also be based on ALFA architecture which also underpins the Altroz and well known for its strength.
Usually EVs are designed in such a way that they have less drag coefficient. But Tata is just electrifying the pre existing cars. So the design of punch EV will remain same as ICE variants. Of course there will be some distinguishing elements like closed grille, tri-arrow pattern and blue inserts.

Punch EV will be powered by the well known Ziptron power train. It will be available in two battery packs, one having high range and another having low range. It will also have three charging options like other Tata EVs.

Tata Nexon gets a new design of alloy wheel

Tata Nexon gets a new set of alloy wheel. 1. Tata Nexon has got a silent update. 2. In this update Nexon gets a new set of alloy wheel. Tata has upgraded their sub compact SUV Nexon silently. In this upgrade Nexon gets a new design for alloy wheel. Before Nexon used to come with 8 spoke 16 inch diamond cut alloy wheel. The old alloy wheel had 4 V shaped design elements. Now it has got same 16 inch diamond cut alloy wheel in an arrangement like flower. Apart from new design of alloy wheel there is no change has done in features. It will remain with same feature list and engine and transmission option.

Brezza or Fronx?

Price The first thing to focus while buying a car is its price. The Fronx comes at 7.47 lacs and goes all the way upto 13.14 lacs ex showroom where Brezza starts at 8.19 lacs and goes upto 14.14 lacs. There is a straight one lacs price gap, so let's see how Brezza justifies it's price over Fronx.
