Citroen C3 EV India launch

Citroen is about to launch the electric version of C3 hatchback in India. Citroen has already started testing the electric C3 which is spied multiple times on Indian roads. The electric C3 will be known as eC3 which will be the first electric product in India from that French car maker.

The electric Citroen C3 will be based on e-CMP platform (electric-Common Modular Platform). The spy images confirms that the electric version will be highly similar to current petrol C3, however there will be some distinguishing factors like closed grille and revised bumper.

The Citroen eC3 will be the first car by the company which is expected to be offered with a small 30kWh battery pack with a single 84bhp motor combination. The electric motor will power the front wheels. The electric motor is good to 143nm torque.
