Honda has unveiled the second generation of WR-V in Indonesian market that Indian spec will be similar to it. The SUV is offered in two variants, one is regular WR-V E which gets 16 inch wheels and a sporty variant WR-V RS that gets 17 inch wheels. First this will go on sale in Indonesian market and latter on in India.
The WR-V gets fresh exterior and interior. The 2nd generation WR-V is larger in dimensions too. This is no longer in sub 4 meter SUV. The length happens to be 4060mm, width happens to be 1780mm and height happens to be 1608mm. WR-V will have the largest ground clearance of 220mm in the segment.
The SUV has upright bonnet and slopping roofline that offers a coupe-SUV look. The design is inspired from bigger Honda SUV like CR-V or HR-V. It has LED headlamps and typical honda grille. At side it gets large window area and a sharp shoulder line. The rear is quite simple. It gets vertical tail lamps which is party LED and partly halogen.
The interior is in all black theme. The dashboard layout, the touch screen, the steering wheel infact the seats are same as Honda Amaze. The WR-V is powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine which is mated to a 5 speed manual and a CVT gearbox. This engine is 121bhp powerful and makes a maximum 145nm torque.
