The Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq was laumch in India before a year and these are SUV is made from most of Indian products. Recently Global NCAP has taken crash test of both the made in India SUVs. They secured 5 star safety ratings and listed in the list of safer cars of India in which Tata Nexon, Tata Punch, Mahindra XUV500, Mahindra XUV300 already exists.
These cars are from Volkswagen motor group amd shares platform. Both comes with safety features like six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC(Electronic Stability Control), TPMS(Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), three point seatbelts, Hill Hold Control, Multi collision breaking and rear parking distance control.
These are the first Indian cars which has been tested with Global NCAP's new protocol. The new protocol assess frontal and side impact protection for all tested models, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), pedestrian protection and side impact pole protection assessments are also required for vehicles scoring the highest star ratings.
