Jeep has unveiled the electric version of Grand Cherokee 4×e. The 5th generation Grand Cherokee likely to have autonomous off-road assist also. Jeep has announced that they will electrify their all SUVs till the year 2025. The brand is focusing on 100% pollution free vehicles.

The Grand Cherokee is the 4th SUV which has been electrified after Wrangler, Compass and Renegade. The conventional varient of Grand Cherokee gets a V6 and V8 power train option where as the electrified one is likely to share the engine & power train with Wrangler 4×e. And it may get network charging i.e one vehicle can charge another one via a cable only.
