In 2011 mahindra created a three row monocoque SUV segment with XUV500. Nowadays SUVs like Tata safari & MG Hector plus are leading the segment. The 2nd largest car manufacturer of India Hyundai all set to enter the into the segment with Alcazar. Hyundai Alcazar is based on compact SUV Creta. It shares platform and design with creta except some visual and mechanical tweaks.

Hyundai has announced the launch date of their new three row SUV. Hyundai has confirmed that Alcazar will hit showrooms on 18th June 2021. They has also begun taking pre-bookings officially. Costumers can book it through their website or have to visit dealerships with a token amount of 25,000. After launch they will deliver the SUV as soon as possible after launch.
Visually Hyundai Alcazar is quite alike 2nd generation Creta. It gets a new cascade grille with chrome inserts and slightly changed headlamps. The bumper and fog lamp area is also slightly different. It gets a new design of alloy wheel. Rear profile isn't so resemble Creta. It gets a new design of LED taillamps which are joint by a thick chrome strip.

The interior layout is completely identical to Creta. It gets same touch screen, AC vents and control panel and flat bottom steering wheel as well. The interior is offered in dual tone treatment where the dual tone contains black and brown colour. Alcazar is a three row SUV which will be offered in 6 or 7 seater option. The 6 seater varients will get captain seats at middle row.
Hyundai will offer a 2.0 liter petrol engine and 1.5 liter diesel engine with the Alcazar SUV. Read more about this here.

Most Powerful BMW launched | M340i updated

Throwback A couple of months, BMW published a SUV concept claiming that will be the most powerful product of the auto maker. Today BMW has launched the XM SUV in Indian market with ex showroom price of 2.6Cr which makes the SUX the flagship model of BMW. This is the only SUV in BMW's M lineup which is powered by both electric motor and a petrol engine which can run 80km on purely electric mode. The all new BMW SUV is powered by a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 petrol engine which is good to 489bhp. This engine is coupled to a 48V strong hybrid system. The combine power output from the petrol engine and electric motor happens to be 654bhp and 800nm. The SUV comes with a 8 speed automatic gearbox that powers all four wheels.
