Mercedes GLA and GLA AMG launched in india

Mercedes has launched GLA and  performance oriented version GLA AMG with an introductory price of 42.10 lakh and 57.30 lakh respectively.
1. Mercedes GLA and GLA AMG has launched.
2. Power train option includes 1.3 liter petrol and 2.0 liter diesel for GLA and 2.0 liter petrol for GLA AMG.
3. The price will be increased by 1.5 lakh after a couple of month.

Mercedes SUV lineup starts with GLA in India. Here 2nd generation of GLA has been launched in India. Mercedes planned for its launch earlier this year but they couldn't because of COVID-19 pendamic and lockdown in India. GLA is launched in 4 varients as GLA 200, GLA 220d, GLA 220d 4 Matic and AMG GLA 35 4 Matic.

Price list 
Mercedes launched the GLA with following price tag. The ex showroom price of all varients of GLA is mentioned below.
• GLA 200: 42.10 lakh
• GLA 220d: 43.70 lakh
• GLA 220d 4 Matic: 46.70 lakh 
• AMG GLA 35 4 Matic: 57.30 lakh 

This 2nd generation Mercedes GLA is bigger in several way and got a fresh exterior and interior design. In terms of lookin the new GLA has smooth edges with maintaining SUV stance. Exterior is designed in a way that it will face minimal air drag. The sloping roofline made side and rear profile sporty. The vertical fin AMG grille, larger wheels and spoiler making AMG GLA distinguishable from regular GLA.
In terms of features it has got a 10.25 inch touch screen MBUX infotainment system, 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, electric panaromic sunroof, wireless charger, wireless android auto and apple car play, 64 color ambient lightning, remote engine start and alexa-google voice command system.

The engine option for Mercedes GLA includes a 1.3 liter petrol engine which produces 163 bhp power and 250nm torque, 2.0 liter diesel engine which makes 190bhp power and 400nm of torque. The petrol engine is paired with a 7 speed DCT gearbox where as the diesel one is with 8 speed DCT. The AMG GLA is powered by a 2.0 liter petrol engine producing 306bhp of power and 400nm of torque. It is available with 8 speed DCT gearbox.
