American car maker company Jeep unveiled Grand Commander a full size 7 seater SUV. The new Grand Commander is based on compass.
1. Full size SUV to compete Fortuner and Endeavour.
2. Based on five seater Jeep Compass.
3. Compass will share engine and platform.
Jeep compass has an unequivocal level of fan base in india. Now Jeep is going to introduce a full size 7 seater SUV named Jeep Grand Compass. The SUV will first launch in Chinese market and it is also planned for India as well. Jeep is working on it and it is expected to available in India in 2022.
The image says that it is carrying forward the jeep DNA which is the seven slat grille. The raised bonnet making it more SUVish. The sharp character line over the bonnet giving it an aggressive look. As it is based on Compass, design is quite similar to it.
At the side it gets squared wheel arches and brushed aluminum finish alloy wheel. The sloping roof line making it well proportions from side and a chrome line underlined below window area. Rear gets sleek LED tail lights and a chrome strip joining the tail lamps. It has aluminum skid plate and twin exhaust system which is expected to not be fake.
In India it is expected to get a 2.0 liter diesel engine which will be 170bhp powerful and can produce 350nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a 9 speed automatic gearbox. It will compete Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and MG Gloster after launch.
