9 SUVs from Mahindra in 5 years, includes 5door Thar

Mahindra has announced their next five year plan. Mahindra will launch 9 new SUVs.
1. Mahindra announced their next 5 year plan which contains 9 SUVs including 5door That.
2. Out of 9 SUV, 3 of them are based on laddar on frame and 4 of them are monocoque.
3. Out of 9 SUV, 2 of them are electric vehicle.

In next 5 years Mahindra will launch 9 more SUVs. Their product launch strategy contains following SUVs.
• XUV700
• New generation Scorpio
• 5 door Thar
• New Bolero
• W620
• V201
• New XUV300
• EV1
• EV2

3 of these SUVs are based on laddar on frame chassis which underpins new generation Scorpio, 5 door That, new Bolero. Two of these are electric vehicles. The XUV700, XUV900, new generation XUV300 and V201 will be based on Mahindra's monocoque chassis. However the upcoming XUV700 is based on modified platform of current XUV500.
One by one mahindra will launch 9 SUVs till 2026. Mahindra confirmed launch of XUV700 in October This year. The new generation Scorpio will hit showroom first quarter of next year. Latter on 5 door Thar and new Bolero will be launched till 2023-2026. The XUV300 will get an update till 2025. W620 and V201 will also launched till 2025. And after launch of these 7 SUVs mahindra will launch 2 EVs. 

As we all knows the testing and all other essential requirements to launch a product takes a lot of time, we expect these SUVs till mid 2027.
