Tata safari will launch on 26th January.
Tata all set to launch all new safari on grand occasion of republic day. The new SUV from tata motors is based on tata harrier, it will share all the things like platform, chassis as well as features however the wheelbase will remain same. Front profile is same as we have seen in harrier. Safari will be the seven seater version of harrier. The D pillar will have a chrome strip which will connected to the roof rails. There no change in wheelbase and added a new rho, so the rear side of safari looks lifted. It is done to increase head room in third rho. Safari written over chrome strip of roof rail which shows level of attention to detail in safari.
Dashbord layout is same as harrier. All the seats will get leather upholstery however the middle rho seats are captain seats and third rho seats will be bench as regular. Interior dashboard layout will be identical to harrier. The instrument cluster is semi-digital (analogue speedometer and 7-inch digital screen which will show RPM meter and MID). Safari will also come with connected car technology with IRA, panaromic sunroof, express cooling feature, electric adjustable seats, auto dimming IRVM and a lot more.
Safari is expected to launch with 2.0 liter turbo diesel engine. There will be 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmission. But tata safari will only available with 2WD system, of course there will be drive modes and terrain response system.
