Citroen has launched the Bassalt which targets the audience who wants uniqueness. The Bassalt is a coupe SUV which body type is unforseen in mass market of the country. Here is a detailed review of Bassalt.

The thing makes the Bassalt is its design. It has a upright stance with slopping roof line. The face of Bassalt is familiar with Citroen lineup. Even the Bassalt shares underpinning with C3 aircross. 

The Bassalt gets a unique body style that grabs attention while drive through. The rear of the Bassalt is also similar to Citroen lineup. The overall Design of the SUV coupe, Bassalt is simple and subtle.

The all new Bassalt gets a light interior with dual tone dashboard. The layout is similar to C3 Aircross. The floating touchscreen and digital instrument cluster makes the interior up market.
The equipment list of Bassalt is very limited. It gets 26cm touchscreen, 17.7 cm digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, wireless charger, automatic AC, adjustable thigh support etc.

Skoda new mid-size premium sedan

1. New mid-size premium sedan teased by Skoda. 2. MQB A0 IN platform. 3. Skoda design competition. Skoda has teased a new mid size sedan with a camouflage design. After kushaq this is the second product of Skoda this year to be unveil which will replace Rapid. The new sedan will be unveiled latter this year and it will be unveild and launched first in India. As shown in the concept image, the new mid-size sedan gets an aggressive look as their recent product Octavia. However it is covered with camouflage the typical Skoda grille and sharp headlamps are clearly visible and the nose line over the bonnet are also prominent here. It will be based on MQB A0 IN platform. Skoda has also announced a design contest which is called CAMOUFLAGE WITH SKODA. Skoda has organized a design competition for the camouflage of their upcoming seadan. The participant should enter the competition before August 18 this year and the winner will be declared on 23rd August.

Skoda Kylaq: The Upcoming Sub-Compact SUV

1. The name for the upcoming sub-4 meter SUV has been announced. 2. Choosen from around 200,000 names. 3. Launch in 2025. Skoda is all set to enter the highly competitive sub-compact SUV segment. The testing of the SUV has already been started and the spy images are surfing on internet from last few months.  This is the third product of India2.0 program. But Skoda hadn't confirmed what the SUV will be called. Like Kishaq and Kodiaq, Skoda initiated a naming contest for this SUV. Over 200,000 entries were registered out of which five were shortlisted, Kwiq, Kylaq, Kosmiq, Kliq and Kayaq. The manufacturer has finalized the name Kylaq (kai-lak) which is inspired from Mt. Kailash. The SUV will be launched in 2025 and it will take on SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Tata Nexon. More details about the Kylaq are awaited.
