Hyundai Tucson launched at 27.7 lakh

Hyundai has launched Tucson in India at 27.7 lakh and the price goes all the wah up to 35.39 lakh ex showroom. This was globally unveiled two years ago and the manufacturer has launched this SUV against Jeep Compass and Citrien C5 air cross. Also this will compete with Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector and Tata Harrier.

Design wise the fourth generation of Hyundai Tucson is similar to Creta facelift inspired by Hyundai's sensuos sportiness. It has a tall bonnet with sharp creases and a massive grille at front which shares space to LED DRLs. The headlamps are placed at bumper. An aluminum skid plate is also provided to the SUV.

At the side, the SUV also gets sharp character lines over the quarter plates. There are massive 18inch alloy wheels are on offer. The SUV gets black cladding at the lower part and integrated roof rails at the top. Turn indicators are placed over the wing mirrors. It has large window area and chrome line over the windows.
Interior is in black and white theme and the layout is similar to Creta. It has digital meter console and there are no physical control for AC vents, the controls are placed in a touch sensitive panel. The AC vents are integrated in a sleek line. Brushed aluminum insert is provided to the four spoke steering wheel.
The feature list includes two 10.25 inch screens. One touch screen is used as infotainment system with connected car tech on the center and another is used as meter console. Apart from these it gets panaromic sunroof, ambient lights, air purifier, dual zone climate control, wireless phone charger, 360 degree parking camera, electric adjustable driver seats with memory function, alexa and google assistant, bose music system, rain sensing wiper and powered tailgate.

The Hyundai Tucson is powered by a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a six speed automatic gearbox. This engine is 156hp powerful and makes a peak torque of 192nm. The diesel unit is also of 2.0 liter diesel engine which is mated to a 8 speed automatic gearbox. This engine is 186hp powerful and makes a peak torque of 416nm.
